Brisbane City Council Sustainability Grants

available for community groups & not-for-profit organisations

Using energy inefficiently could be costing your organisation thousands in avoidable energy costs.

reduce energy bills for community groups

An energy audit is the first step to uncovering inefficiencies and identifying cost-effective ways to improve efficiency and reduce energy consumption and costs.

With guidance from an energy efficiency consultant, an energy audit will:

  • Help you better understand how your site uses energy by analysing your usage data

  • Determine the feasibility of installing solar and applying efficiency measures to lighting, air conditioning, refrigeration, and other energy-using systems.
  • Identify which solutions will produce the highest savings for the shortest return on investment
  • Help you sort through the confusion and provide you with a clear, ready to implement, tailored strategy for reducing energy costs and carbon emissions.

Take advantage of the Brisbane City Council’s Sustainability Grant Funding

To assist community groups and not-for-profits, the Brisbane City Council has released its next round of Sustainability Grant funding of up to $10k.

The Grant funding can be used to conduct an energy audit and implement the recommended energy efficiency measures.
